Welcome to the Circumnavigators Club  UK Chapter Website

When I was a child growing up in Neath, Porthcawl was a far away place and I had no idea then that one day I would be welcoming you as the UK Chapter President of the Circumnavigators Club.

The thought of travel and exploration has always excited me. So in the 80’s before gap years were invented, I went with some friends on my first round the world adventure condensed into five very full weeks.

A chance meeting on my second circumnavigation introduced me to the prestigious and historic Circumnavigators Club. Headquartered in New York, there are numerous chapters around the world. I have been honoured to become President of the UK Chapter, taking over from Lord Inchcape.

My vision is to maintain the high standards and qualities of the original chapter here in UK with the lunches and meetings in London and to develop my links in Wales with the amazing, active and adventurous people I have met as a result of my involvement.

The Welsh launch has brought together an incredible, vigorous group of individuals with travel as the common theme, but also with the intention and belief that through our actions, leave the world a better place.
